Originally commissioned with an open layout and inboard shaft drives, a comprehensive 1989 refit added the commanding, fully enclosed upper wheelhouse and upgraded the propulsion to twin Volvo Penta diesel stern drives alongside larger diesel tanks. The layout boasts a massive, safe, and versatile aft work deck that transitions seamlessly into a secure, weather-protected pilot house, perfect for navigating diverse waterways in complete comfort.

Originally built for the Department of Fisheries & Oceans (Coast Guard) and based out of Burlington on the Great Lakes, "SOTERIA" carries an exciting local heritage. After serving proudly, she spent years well-preserved by a commercial tour company before being acquired in 2020 by her current owners for a complete recreational transformation.

Between 2020 and 2024, the vessel underwent an extensive interior and mechanical refit. The interior was completely modernized with new flooring, marine carpeting, a custom galley with twin AC/DC fridge/freezers, an induction cooktop, and a new head with a macerator toilet. Mechanically, the entire 12V/24V electrical system was updated with BlueSea distribution panels, upgraded AGM batteries, and a Victron solar charging system. Meticulously maintained with annual winterization and oil changes, she also features a new port heat exchanger (2023) and a new starboard lower drive unit (2024). A recent 2024 survey is available to serious buyers with a conditional offer.
