Kevin Frawley was born in San Rafael, California, but spent most of his childhood in Ohio and Michigan prior to moving to Fort Lauderdale in 1992. He joined the United States Coast Guard in 2001 and spent his first two years of service in the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D.C., performing ceremonial duties at the White House, the Pentagon and the Tomb of the Unknowns, as well as funeral services at Arlington National Cemetery. Kevin was then assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Valiant, a 210′ medium endurance cutter out of Miami Beach.
Aboard Valiant he served as a Gunner's Mate, Quartermaster and boarding team member. Valiant patrolled Caribbean waters conducting drug and migrant interdiction, and was the first US asset to arrive in Port-au-Prince during the 2004 coup d'état, for which he received the Commandant's Letter of Commendation. In the spring of 2004 he volunteered for a one-year deployment aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Wrangell, a 110′ Island-class cutter, in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Returning to the United States as a Gunner's Mate Second Class in 2005, he was assigned to the CGC Sitkinak, another 110′ cutter out of Miami Beach. Kevin was one of the first responders to the crash of Chalk's Flight 101 on December 19, 2005, and was awarded the Coast Guard Achievement Medal for his service aboard Sitkinak.
Kevin joined Denison Yacht Sales in 2006, selling brokerage boats between 50′ and 130′. In 2009 Denison began representing Selene Yachts and Kevin was selected to manage Denison's first new-boat line, which taught him a great deal about yacht design and the building process, and about navigating complicated builds in foreign countries. In 2012 he took on management of the Contender brand. He helped bring Hatteras to Denison in 2016, serving as brand manager, and was promoted to new-boat sales manager for Denison Yachting.
In 2021, on the recommendation of his loyal clientele, Kevin started Resolute Yachting to provide the level of service he believes every client deserves, whether they are buying a center console or a large motor yacht. He lives in Fort Lauderdale with his four children.
