One of two sister boats built by Doug Smith at Northwest Aluminum Craft in Victoria, Reel Intent is a welded-aluminum 26 pilothouse repowered in 2020 with a Suzuki DF350 and kept on a continuous annual service schedule since 2013.

The modified-V hull with hard chines and lifting strakes handles chop the way only a purpose-built aluminum boat can, and the 500-litre fuel tank gives her range well beyond most boats her size. Two full helm stations mean you can run her from the warm, dry pilothouse or work fish from the aft cockpit.
