Early examples of the Magnum 70 were equipped with powerful CRM diesel engines and designed to deliver exceptional speed, handling, and long-range cruising capability.</p><p><br></p><p>One of the first Magnum 70 models, delivered in 1989 with twin CRM 1,800 horsepower diesel engines, operated extensively in Japan's Inland Sea. Prior to entering service, the vessel underwent traditional Japanese blessing ceremonies performed by both Shinto and Buddhist priests, a customary practice intended to purify and protect the vessel during its voyages.</p><p><br></p><p>The yacht operated successfully in Japan for many years and developed a reputation for reliability and durability.
