<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Her hull was designed by Bill Garden, who also designed boats for Willard. This hull was laid up by Tillotson-Pearson in 1975 and is solid fiberglass below the hull-deck joint. She received her engine at this time and then was carefully stored in an indoor warehouse for the next 20 years. In 1996 she was purchased by a couple of shipwrights who built her out and finished her topsides and interior. She was documented and launched for the first time later that year. As such, she has a hull number from 1975 but a USCG documentation of 1996. Hesper's current owner is her fourth, and he has done an admirable job of maintaining and caring for her over the past several years of his ownership. She is waiting for her new owners to take over and enjoy her beauty, comfort and charm.
