- Palm Beach is calmer, closer for owners on that side, and has excellent access to the Bahamas. The crossing from the Lake Worth Inlet is a meaningfully shorter run to the northern Bahamas than from Port Everglades.

Buying a classic Rybovich
If you are pursuing an original wooden Rybovich, treat it as a different category of transaction. Survey scope, surveyor selection, insurance and restoration history all matter more than on a production hull, and the pool of genuinely qualified surveyors for cold-moulded and plank-on-frame construction is small.
